Green Hill Farm
Sharpsburg, MD. is a small town
with a big history. Founded in 1763, it
was visited by George Washington as he
marched westward with General
Braddock.  Abraham Lincoln was
inspired by the great Battle of Antietam
that took place here to write The
Emancipation Proclamation.

The Farm on the Green Hill has been a
part of this history and artifacts frequently
surface as a reminder of its past.

Centuries later, many still travel here to
experience that history and enjoy its
beautiful countryside.

Stone walls still roll over the hillsides.
Hundred year old barns still remain in
the fields.  Historic homes line the town
streets and a creek flows from the town
spring.

The scenic mountain views are relatively
untouched by the last hundred years and you will
fall back in time the moment you crest the drive.
The home site is surrounded by pasture and is
extremely private.  No roads or other homes are
visible from the property.

The 25 acre estate is available to host events such
as weddings, parties, family reunions and festivals.
There is plenty of room for parking and gathering.

The farm is centrally located a half mile from the
Antietam Battlefield, a short drive to Harpers
Ferry and Shepherdstown, WV and an hours drive
from Frederick and the  Baltimore/Washington
area.
